Since I sucked my fingers as a kid and Sophia does now too, we didn't even know there was such a thing as a Paci Fairy, until my friend Cary told me about her. The girls have been getting excited all week about the Paci Fairy, but Clara was a bit hesitant on giving up her prized possessions. Especially Corduroy Bear Paci, Moo Paci and Pooh Paci. But right before bed last night Clara said she was ready for the Paci Fairy to come. So the girls and I scoured the house and picked up all the paci's we could find, put them into two plastic baggies and put one under each of their pillows. It was very nice of Clara to share her loot with her big sister since big sister never used a paci so therefore never had the Paci Fairy come. Clara as having 2nd thoughts about it all, so she took one of her paci's out to have for the night.
The next morning, the paci's were gone...including the one that Clara fell asleep with. And under their pillows were matching mermaid nightgowns :-) However, when Clara woke up, she walked out of her room with one in her mouth - I have no idea where that one came from! Probably hidden in her covers or stuffed animals. So Mommy took away the very last paci and that is the end of that story! Thank you for telling us about the Paci Fairy, Cary ;-)
