We headed from Des Moines to Brookfield Missouri today to visit Ellen's Great Grandma Vi. It was a 3 hour drive each way. And that was after the 5 hour drive to Des Moines yesterday! Both of the kids were great.
Christian put Sophia in the front seat during a pit stop and she thought she'd give Mommy a break and drive the rest of the way :)

Grammy only told Shelly that we were coming to visit, so everyone else was very surprised to see us. Other relatives stopped by too, some of Grammy's cousins - Jane and Becky. It was so nice to see everyone!
