Go Hawkeyes, that is! My parents surprised Christian with tickets to the Iowa vs. Michigan game for his birthday (which was on Dec. 25). So we packed up the crew and headed to DBQ Friday night. My parents, Ron and Christian went to Iowa City for the game on Saturday
while I stayed back with the girls. We managed to have a little bit of
fun on our own ;-) What a wonderful weekend we all had. Miss you already Grammy & Poppy!

| Given the Hawk's record and recent performances, nobody thought they had
a chance against Michigan. Well, they proved everybody wrong by a
long shot! Iowa beat Michigan 73-59!!! WAY TO GO HAWKEYES!!! |
| Since the boys were going to be away having fun, we made Daddy bring our sleigh so we could ware Mommy out from pulling us around the yard. Ha ha ha, she thought she'd be wearing US out ;-) |
| Sophia has been wanting to make a snow angel all winter! Now there's finally enough snow to do so. She was so excited :-) |
| Clara was having a Christmas Story moment, "I can't get up!" LOL. When the show stuck to her mittens or coat she kept saying 'dirty, dirty.' It was her first time being able to actually play in show, since last year she was too little to do so. |
| Sophia was very content lounging in her sleigh - trying to throw snow at her sister. |
| Not a happy camper at first... |
| Then she cracked her famous Clara smile and started to dig in... |
| Imagine that - Clara eating ;-) |
| The fun quickly stopped when throwing the snow at Mommy accidentally went in her face and not towards me! LOL |
