Season Opener

What a gorgeous day for baseball! Christian's team, the Indians had a great game last night against the Elgin Continental Cubs despite their 5-4 loss. Christian was the lead off batter for the game and had an awesome line drive hit landing him on first base. With his lightning fast speed he proceeded to steal 2nd and 3rd bases, scoring the first run of the game with help from his teammate's RBI. We were ahead the whole game until the Cubs tied it up in the end. It all came down to the 7th inning (yep - they aren't in the pee wee's anymore - they play 7 innings now!) and unfortunately we didn't score anymore runs but the Cubs did. Disappointing ending, but overall a good game. Next game is this Friday at 6pm in Bartlett.
