We and the the Taylor's went home to Dubuque for New Year's weekend. It was very relaxing and a lot of fun; albeit for missing Christian and the never ending sickness that continues to circulate!
Sophia's new trick she learned from staying at Nana & Papa's...now will they teacher her where to use this trick next time she stays with them? We hope so!
Could Poppy be any happier?
Even with screams from inside the house "BIIIIILLLLL!!!..."
...he still took the girls off 'the cliff.'
They weren't necessarily crying, but they sure weren't smiling as big as Poppy was ;-)
The Taylor dogs Tai & Uli LOVE the snow!
Despite how sunny it is and how happy everyone looks (yes - Sophia has Ron's lack of smiling trait for pictures!), it was cold!!!
Ron with Gracie
Leah and her Gracie
Beads, beads and more beads - oh my! Grammy was set for the girls! Sophia put that strand around Gracie's head AND hers - it was funny. They couldn't stand up straight ;-)
Daddy thought the booster seat was a boring Christmas present for Sophia. Turns out she wants it on the floor to sit and play in whenever she's not at the table...go Mommy ;-)
Yo yo yo! Grace is in the house!
Well...isn't exactly the picture of the girls on the chairs that Grammy was hoping to get when she got them before they were even born :)
What is she hiding behind her back this time with that devious little smile on her face?
Sophia must have learned to put her feet up from Daddy ;-) She pushed both chairs together so she could have a footrest! Smart little girl!
Ellen and little Emma Jane
The Mylrea's came over for dinner. It was so nice to see them since our girls' road trip to Minnesota got canceled a few weeks ago due to a (one of many) snow storms.
The Stoffel & Mylrea girls: Ellen & Sophia, Ali & Emma Jane and Leah & Grace
Poppy disappeared with the girls for awhile to keep them occupied. I think we left him alone with them a little too long! Rummaging through Grammy's toiletry drawers led to Poppy playing hair stylist :)
No explanation needed!
The look beautiful, Poppy :)
Oops - got stuck!
Please help Mommy :)
