Updates

Hello Everyone! No pictures for this post. Just thought we'd give you a little info on the recent happenings in theBaker fam. Christian just started 6th grade. Hard to believe that our first baby is that big already. He sure is growing fast...he wears a size 10 men's shoe already! We are off to a good start with school. He seems excited, especially with his new job this year - he's a patrol and loves being the boss and writing kids up for yelling on the bus ;) Christian has also started fall ball baseball and has games through October. Let us know if you want his schedule to come to a game. Ellen is going back to work next week after being on maternity leave (well mostly - she took a work trip a few weeks ago and has been doing some things from home). There were a bunch of lay-offs at her company (WGP) a few weeks ago, so she will be returning as a freelancer. She has work secured part time through February which is great. It will allow her to be home when she's not in the office and spend more time with the kids. We are excited for the challenge and all of the opportunities lie ahead for her in her freelance endeavors. Ron is, as always, keeping himself busy as well. He is VERY happy that football season has started - go bears! And with the Cubbies still going strong (woo hoo - best record in baseball!!!), it's a good thing there's picture in picture on the TV :) Drop us a line when you can - or even better, stop in for a visit.
